Ryan O. Roy

Founder, Blue Did It

Ryan O. Roy has spent decades helping individuals and families navigate complicated behavioral-health situations.

His work has ranged from frightened parents and exhausted spouses to high-profile individuals, family offices, attorneys, fiduciaries, clinicians, and treatment programs. The circumstances vary. The underlying principle does not:

Crisis rarely affects only one person. It affects the entire system around them.

Born and raised in Boston, Ryan brings lived experience alongside his professional experience. After losing a brother and building more than 23 years of his own sobriety, he understands both the individual struggle and what happens to the people who love someone who is struggling.

Ryan also grew up in a YPO New England family, giving him lifelong familiarity with the particular dynamics of high-performing families: wealth, leadership, privacy, expectations, reputation, loyalty, and legacy.

Sophisticated families are still families.

Ryan remains personally involved in every Blue engagement, collaborating with families and the clinicians, attorneys, trustees, advisors, treatment providers, and other professionals around them.

His philosophy is straightforward:

No one is broken or wrong. Families are systems, and systems can change.

The goal is not simply treatment.

It is clarity, alignment, accountability, and sustainable wellness for the individual and the people around them.

Blue Helps.
